Program Description

  • This program is intended for students who are interested in pursuing a career in health research.
  • The Master's Degree in Health Services Research is a collaborative venture of Memorial University of Newfoundland, the University of New Brunswick, St. Mary's University, and the University of Prince Edward Island, and is coordinated through the Atlantic Research Training Centre.
  • The degree program provides knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex health policy issues and contribute to the future of health services in Atlantic Canada.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic eligibility:
  • A Bachelor’s degree of four years or a Bachelor’s with honours or equivalent professional degree from an approved university with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or an average of 75% or higher.
International student eligibility:
  • Applicants must hold an academic Standard XII certificate (e.g. Higher Secondary School Certificate, All-India Senior School Certificate, Indian School Certificate) with Second Division standing
  • Vocational Standard XII certificates will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Applicant must have qualified any one of the language tests IELTS/TOEFL to prove English language proficiency.
