Pharmacists also supervise the medicines supply chain through the provision of dispensing services in the community, hospital and other primary care settings. They have an important role to play as part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team, liaising closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law and suitable for a particular patient. They also work closely with patients and carers to offer help and advice. With over 100 years of experience, our Leicester School of Pharmacy will help provide you with the practical and professional skills needed to work as a pharmacist.
