Program Description

Program Description

The Michigan Law LLM provides a flexible program of study, allowing students to specialize as a student, explore new areas of interest. LLM degree consists primarily of courses and seminars and requires students to complete a research paper under faculty supervision on a topic of their choice. The LLM degree is awarded upon completion of 24 credits with at least a 2.7 average in two terms (eight months) of study.

  • The student must have at least 18 of the credits must be earned in Law School courses.
  • The student must satisfy the constitutional law requirement.
  • The student must satisfy the research requirement.
