Core courses in your first year feed into a range of options in the following year. Your third year is spent abroad, either working or studying at one of our partner universities (including Berlin, Munich, Vienna and many more). We hold a residential course in Germany for all of our students on their year abroad. In your final year, we offer researched modules taught by experts in their field on topics as diverse as contemporary German film, business and society, gender and ethnicity in the early nineteenth century, interpreting the Holocaust and modern Berlin, supported by the wealth of resources in our ultra-modern Transnational Resource Centre.
