Mathematics is everywhere: weather forecasting, cash machines, secure websites, electronic games, liquid crystal displays and statistical data analysis.Statistics is the area of mathematics we use to explore and try to explain the uncertain world in which we live. You’ll be familiar with the use of statistics in opinion polls and market research. It is also central to the manufacture and testing of many products, and, in particular, showing that modern drugs are effective and safe.Our flexible degree structure enables transfer between courses with the opportunity to study abroad.
