Program Description

Biomedical engineering is a rapidly expanding industry, with the National Health Service, industrial and academic research and development all making advances to meet the increasing demands of healthcare.Studying with us, you'll gain broad training in modern biomedical engineering and learn about the complexities of human anatomy and physiology. You will also study core mechanical and electrical engineering subjects.The Department of Biomedical Engineering has recently celebrated its 50th anniversary and is one of the oldest such departments in the world, with expertise and excellence in teaching and research.
