St. Lawrence College offers a Certificate in Business Fundamentals for a duration of 1-year.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
The Business Fundamentals program provides students with broad and exploratory business education. It covers business basics such as Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Mathematics, and Business Communications.
Students can apply and start this program in September, October, January, or May for international students only.
Students who start in October or January complete their first year of the program at the end of June or July and then begin the second year in September.
The courses may be offered in the classroom or lab, entirely online, or in a hybrid mode that combines classroom sessions with online learning activities.
Program delivery can be run weekdays, weekends, or evenings.
Courses in this program follow a 7-1-7 delivery schedule: three-course for seven weeks, one week of professional development activities and advising, and seven weeks of three courses.
SLC graduates have many options to continue their studies with post-secondary institutions across Canada and around the world.
St. Lawrence College offers an extensive Student Scholarship and Bursary Program. Scholarships and bursaries for this purpose are sponsored by external organizations and private individuals.

Academic Eligibility:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of Grade 11 and 12 courses at the C, U or M level including the following prerequisites:
- Grade 12 English at the C or U level
- Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level.

Indian Student Eligibility:

The students must have completed 10th and intermediate i.e 12th grade which has the minimum with 60% marks.
The minimum qualification required to attend this program is a higher secondary school certificate.
Copies of original documents should be attested by the educational institution.
School Record of Diploma/Degree certificate Mark sheets for each year of study is required.

Following are the required documents:

CV/Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
Official Transcript: Submit copies of an official transcript from post-secondary institutions attended in PDF format.
Official Degree Certificate: It provides proof of degree completion and must be an original copy issued by the institution with an official stamp or seal.
Personal Statement: This is a short statement (approximately one page) that details the reason for pursuing graduate studies with this department and their research interests.
Statement of Intent: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
