Program Description
- The Bachelor of Arts in Global Tourism Management is a unique undergraduate program that carefully considers the applicant's need as an international student or a Canadian citizen or permanent resident that has not yet achieved English fluency
 - he first two years are a combination of foundational, preparatory and academic courses to help equip students for success at Royal Roads University and in Canada
 - The final two years are a combination of academic courses, filed trips, guest speakers, study abroad opportunities and more
 - The cohort learning model will bring students together with inspired students from around the world where they will study together for the duration of their program, frequently forming a lifelong professional community
 - Students will experience two 12-week internships during their 4-year program allowing them to apply and expand their knowledge
 - The program -focuses on global tourism opportunities, trends and issues that will ensure students will have the tools and knowledge to advance their career in tourism and hospitality anywhere in the world
 - Experiential learning is an important component of this program; students will be taken out of the classroom and exposed to actual tourism operations and situations through a 1-week field trip course
