Program Description
- The course provides specific and in-depth training respectively in the history of the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary world, as well as in the history of culturally defined historical geographical areas of Asia and Africa, inserted in an overall framework of general knowledge of world history, from its origins to the present day.
- The themes developed range from political history to institutional structures, economic and settlement systems, legal systems, ideological, religious, cultural and gender aspects, intellectual history, area histories, the history of colonization and decolonization, to history of cultural relations between Europe, Asia and Africa.
