Program Description
- Masters in Environmental Engineering will offer students a more solid foundation in those aspects of Mathematics, Hydraulics and Chemistry which will enable them to understand the physical phenomena and civil laws affecting environmental engineering and environmental protection
- Students will be in a position to understand the interplay of physical, biological and chemical factors in the environment and how to treat and dispose of liquid, solid or gaseous wastes, deal with environmental threats , clean up contaminated areas, and evaluate (directly or via research) the quality of the environment
- Through a multidisciplinary approach which takes into account legal,chemical, physical, geological, hydraulic and hydrological factors , graduates will be able to plan and manage low-impact engineering solutions in the social and physical environment
- Students will study courses such as Air Pollution Control, Coastal Management and Protection, Design of Structures for Environmental Protection, Ecotoxicology, Environmental Electrical Science, Enviromental Fluid Mechanics, Environmental Fluid Mechanics, Environmental Hydraulics, Geographical Information Systems, Geology and Geochemistry, etc
