Program Description
The course is divided into three academic years, during which the student acquires the theoretical and practical notions needed to carry out the profession of Orthopedic Technician, according to the provisions of the current legislation.The student’s training is both theoretical and practical and attendance to lectures, interactive courses, seminars and practical training, held at affiliated Orthopedic Workshops, are mandatory activities, during which the student works under the supervision of a qualified Tutor, achieving the training objectives expected for the three years of the course.
At the end of the course the discussion of a thesis and the passing of the State Exam are scheduled, qualifying graduates for the profession of Orthopedic technician, which take place in the presence of teachers, representatives of the Medical Profession of Orthopedic Technician and a commissioner appointed by the Ministry of health.
