Program Description

The Degree in “Psychological Sciences and Techniquesaims to provide a set of basic knowledge in the psychological field.
The course also prepares students in the fields of: personal services and their development in educational, family and aging contexts; guidance services within both the scholastic world and the workplace; and in cognitive and functional rehabilitation activities, giving students knowledge of normal and pathological development processes.
The aim is to train flexible professional figures, who can work in the fields of: education:scholastic training support activities, including work with the elderly; school and professional guidance; selection and training for work, and rehabilitation..
Access to the degree course is a programmed number, subject to verification of the aptitudes and skills necessary for the course of study; at the end of the course it is possible to continue university education with a Master’s degree or access the state exam for psychologists (Albo B) and enter employment.

Career opportunities

The course allows to obtain the qualification for the following positions:
- Doctor in psychological techniques for social, organizational and work contexts;
- Physician in psychological techniques for personal and community services.
The Degree program provides the professional knowledge necessary to allow a job opening, albeit limited by the supervision of a specialist psychologist, in the different available areas (i.e. social, organizational and work contexts, and for services to the person and the community).
