Program Description

The Degree Course in “Dental Hygiene” (qualifying for the health profession of dental hygienist) aims to train health workers who carry out activities aimed at prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and functional assessment procedures, with a title and professional autonomy for both individuals and the community, compatible with the skills required by their professional profile.
The course is divided into three years and provides for the acquisition of 180 CFU in total for the purposes of obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene
The final exam has the status of a state exam, qualifying for professional practice.
The first, second and third year of the course are activated.
Enrollment in the course is subject to passing a specific admission test and on the basis of a quota of places, indicated in the admission announcement for each academic year.
The number of admission places to the first year of the course and as well as the methods and content of the test are established by ministerial decrees.
Every University prepares their own admission test.
