Program Description

The Master’s Degree in “Writings and Projects for the Visual and Performing Arts” trains graduates with specific disciplinary preparation in the field of visual and performing arts, providing appropriate methodologies, knowledge of the contemporary historical-cultural context and skills in writing and planning for the world of art, entertainment and culture.
Through a solid historical and theoretical preparation, together with the acquisition of a strong critical sensitivity, the aim is to help students develop cultural awareness and acute ability to interpret contemporary artistic phenomena. The design and writing skills are aimed at enabling students to acquire the appropriate expressive skills and disciplinary languages to design and manage interventions in the visual and performing arts, both in the framework of cultural and social processes.
The teaching methods include numerous specific courses for visual and performing arts, managed both through lectures and seminars supported by laboratory activities. The educational path also includes frequent moments of direct contact with professionals in the sector, through workshops and work projects, with the aim of experimenting the new forms of professionalism acquired in the field.
