The mission of the Faculty is to be become a centre of excellence for education, research and professional services which contributes to environmentally-sound and sustainable development for the continuous growth of economic, social, cultural conditions as well as improved quality of life.The Faculty of Environmental Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia, is dedicated to achieving excellence in Education and Research in Basic and Applied Environmental Studies through a quality management system which is continously undergoing improvement to ensure customer satisfaction in line with ISO 9001:2000.
The faculty members will carry out their responsibilities in such a manner as to achieve the quality objectives which have been set, and, in addition, will review these objectives from time to time to ensure that they are in line with the vision, mission, and quality policy of the faculty.
