Program Description
- The Civil Engineering with Environmental Management MSc course is a spin-off from the well-established MSc Civil Engineering course at the University of East London and provides advanced training for engineers and professionals concerned with building future cities and settlements as safe, sustainable, resilient, and adaptable systems of systems
- The course is multidisciplinary in nature and instates in students the capability of designing systems that are resilient to extreme climates and emerging hazards, systems that have a better symbiosis with natural environmental systems
- The program will help to develop techniques for analyzing and solving problems within the civil engineering context, understand the role of the engineer as an important professional in society and the sustainable built environment and deal with complex issues both systematically and creatively, make sound judgments in the absence of complete data, and communicate conclusions clearly to specialist and non-specialist audiences and stakeholders
