Program Description
- This specialised MBA offers a Supply Chain Management pathway through the existing contemporary and practical MBA. The way a supply chain functions in its environment is critical to organisation’s strategic objectives
- The program will also offer students an optional placement year, which enables them to experience supply chain management in the real world and effectively connect their university experience with it
- This course is designed to give students the opportunity to:
• Study organisations, their management and the changing external context in
which they operate
• Develop the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of business and
management to complex or difficult issues, both systematically and creatively,
to improve business and management practice, including within an
international context - Students on the MBA (Supply Chain Management) with Placement route will be expected to undertake a 30 weeks work placement. The placement is worth an additional 120 credits
- Upon the completion, students will be able to:
Demonstrate understanding of the assumptions, logical structure, implications and limitations of business and management concepts, theories and ideas
• Understand the sources, uses and management of finance, including the use of accounting and other information systems for managerial applications
