Program Description

Students will learn to understand how economic decisions at an individual, institutional, and national level impact the world we live in. Throughout this course, students will investigate economic and financial problems, from local to international in scale, and learn to devise practical solutions to them. The topics that students will explore include:
  • Economic policy
  • Environmental economics
  • Responsible business behavior
  • Analysis techniques
  • Corporate finance
  • International finance. 
Students will also have the opportunities to enter economics competitions both within the university and on a national or international scale and will regularly hear from high-profile guest speakers providing opportunities for networking, internships, and work experience placements.

Academic Eligibility:
  • 104 UCAS Tariff points
  • 3 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) including the English Language and Maths.
Indian Eligibility:Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
  • International students need to demonstrate experience, or qualifications equivalent to those above.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
