Program Description

This exciting one/two-year MSc. Computer Science course at Nottingham Trent combines offers a one-year placement track. This course has been designed to cover the computer science foundation subjects and then build on this foundation with postgraduate level material in the final year. Students will acquire the skills to become independent learners and gain advanced skills in specialized areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, advanced analysis and design, embedded systems, and programming.Requiring international students to have a relevant bachelor’s degree with at least 55% or more, IELTS score (or other ELP scores), and an investment of 15 lakhs INR. For those students who plan to pursue MComp from NTU, students will also have the opportunity for a year-long paid work placement. The School has strong links with industry, both nationally and internationally. Our industrial partners include representatives such as CERN, Schlumberger, Caterpillar, Walt Disney, Fisher Scientific, Intel, and Hewlett Packard.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:
  • Bachelor's degree (honors) from a recognized institution or an equivalent degree from the university. or
  • Appropriate work experience combined with a relevant qualification.
  • If students have a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) or PgD in Management from the University, gained within the last five years, they will be able to complete the MSc by attending the research methods sessions and completing a dissertation.
Indian Student Eligibility:Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
  • Completed the undergraduate degree(honors) from a recognized institution.
  • Students should have appropriate experience in this field.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through tests like IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent.
