Program Description
About this course:- This course covers the fundamentals of Data Science including Big Data infrastructure, AI and statistical analysis, and the mining of data. Development of ther understanding of deriving value from the data analytics functions is also a focus of this course.
- Students will learn how to support organizations in improving their data capture, management, and analysis processes with a focus on efficiency and profit, whilst adhering to the current highest ethical standards.
- This course builds on NTU’s experience of upskilling major employers in the region in the areas of data analytics and data science.
- Studying takes place in university’s purpose-built ISTeC building, where students will have access to the specialist Data Science teaching facility and 3D imagery lab.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree (honours) from a recognized institution or an equivalent degree from the university. or
- Appropriate work experience combined with a relevant qualification.
- If students have a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) or PgD in Management from the University, gained within the last five years, they will be able to complete the MSc by attending the research methods sessions and completing a dissertation.
- Completed the undergraduate degree(honours) from a recognized institution.
- Students should have appropriate experience in this field.
