Program Description

  • The Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technician is a 2-year program at Fleming College.
  • Students will learn about programmable logic controls (PLCs), electrical and electronic circuits and systems, instrumentation, cabling, network engineering, and electrical machines and controls.
  • The program will equip students with electrical and electronic theory and practice the tools they need to take on entry-level positions or an apprenticeship in the electrical industry.
  • Students will learn the following subjects:
    • Applied Mathematics for Technology
    • Communications
    • Drafting Applications and AutoCAD
    • Electricity
    • Alternating Current Theory
