Program Description
The first three semesters will follow the MA course to give students a thorough grounding in collaborative filmmaking. Mentored over the following two semesters, they will make an extended piece that will develop your own style as you become a confident and experienced filmmaker.Whether students ambitions lie in fiction, documentary, animation or experimental films, this course will allow them to develop their idea into a professional piece of work. We will give them the independence and freedom to realise their project, complemented by the support of our expert tutors.The MFA (Master of Fine Arts) is a highly respected qualification in the US and is growing in significance in the UK. More importantly, they will graduate with a fully realised film project that will extend their portfolio and demonstrate who they are as a filmmaker. Their experiences on the course will prepare them for the collaborative nature of the filmmaking industry.Other Requirements
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree with 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale for 2:2 equivalent.
- Applicants should either have at least a second class honours degree or have equivalent experience or training, normally from within the work.
- All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70%.
- Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%.
