Program Description
- Advanced Diploma in Aviation Management at Georgian College is offered as a 3 years (6 semesters) program.
- It is an on-campus, co-op program offered on a full-time basis.
- This program is designed to give students the knowledge and hands-on experience in aviation and management, as well as provide co-operative work experience in the aviation industry.
- Aviation courses focus on aircraft, airline and airport operations, aviation safety and security and flight systems, and navigation.
- The program curriculum provides in-depth classroom sessions in which students studying the aviation industry and specifically, aviation business management.
- It also provides graduates with a better chance of success in furthering their training with the Department of National Defence or to become air traffic controllers, commercial/airline pilots, and flight service specialists.
- Students get the opportunity to pass the examination to receive their Restricted Aeronautical Radio Operation License.
- The program consists of 3 co-op work terms that provide aviation industry co-op experience that will give students the real-world experience that they need to land a great career.
- University provides dedicated, industry-experienced faculty who care about student's success.
- The graduate students can get jobs in Air Canada, Lester B. Pearson Airport, Sunwing Airlines, Air Georgian, Transport Canada, the Ministry of Natural Resources, and many other aviation-related organisations.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- any Grade 11 (Minimum of 60% in Grade 11 College or University level Mathematics (MBF3C or MCF3M)) or 12 Mathematics (C, M, or U)
- Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school students may also be considered for admission.
- Students who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing also get admission to this program.

Required Document List

- Clinical and field placement forms: Students have to submit documents required prior to the start of registration in order to ensure students' placement and to allow participation in clinical and field placement facilities.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit original or certified copies of English language proficiency test scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
