Program Description
- Diploma in Automotive Business at Georgian College is offered as 2 years (4 semesters) plus 2 work terms program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- In this program, students are prepared for professional and essential support positions in the automotive industry by providing general business and specialized automotive education.
- Students get 8 months of co-op work experience that provides opportunities to network with industry professionals, and to explore the automotive industry and learn from industry experts.
- Upon completion of the program, students have the skills, knowledge, and experience to build a career across a broad range of sectors in the automotive industry.
- This program offers an online part-time delivery format and students can register on a course-by-course basis.
- Students can finish the part-time program in 2 ½ to 4 years depending on their course schedule.
- In Georgian College, the graduate employment rates are excellent which is over 90 percent.
- Students have to complete 2 co-op work term which provides unique co-op and networking opportunities.
- Students are required to complete a Co-op and Career Preparation course scheduled prior to their first co-op work term.
- The automotive industry is one of the largest industries in Canada and globally, consisting of a variety of sectors: retail (dealerships), manufacturing, distribution, aftermarket, finance, marketing, and media.
- The average salary goes up to 44,000 USD after completion of the program.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- any Grade 111 (Minimum of 60% in Grade 11 College or University level Mathematics (MBF3C or MCF3M)) or 12 Mathematics (C, M, or U)
- Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school students may also be considered for admission.
- Students who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing also get admission to this program.
