Program Description
- Diploma in Business at Georgian College is offered as 2 years (4 semesters) program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- This program builds a solid foundation in business and provides valuable hands-on experience to launch a student's careers or pathways for further studies.
- The program courses include economics, accounting, marketing, and human resources.
- Graduates can enter the workforce or continue studies as the program provides multiple pathways into degree and post-graduate diploma programs.
- The graduate program requirements are:
- 18 Program Courses
- 2 Communications Courses
- 1 Program Option Course
- 3 General Education Courses
- The program offers a part-time delivery format that can be completed online or a combination of online and onsite depends on the student’s choice.
- For the part-time program, students have to register on a course-by-course basis.
- Students can complete the part-time program in 2 ½ to 4 years depending on the student’s course schedule.
- Students must attain a minimum of 50% or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in each course in each semester unless otherwise stated on the course outline.
- Student's career opportunities may include management trainee/manager, sales/sales management, personnel officer/manager in addition to entrepreneurial opportunities.
- The average salary goes up to 38,000 USD after completion of the program.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with
- Grade 12 English (C or U)
- any Grade 111 (Minimum of 60% in Grade 11 College or University level Mathematics (MBF3C or MCF3M)) or 12 Mathematics (C, M, or U)
- Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school students may also be considered for admission.
- Students who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing also get admission to this program.
