Program Description
- The University of Regina offers a MFA in Studio Art Practice with a duration of 2 years program.
- The graduate programs in Interdisciplinary Studies in Fine Arts include a studies-based Master of Arts (MA) and a practice-based Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
- In both cases, students are required to complete projects which integrate knowledge from two or three distinct traditional disciplines one of which must be a Fine Arts discipline (i.e.: media production and studies, music, theatre, visual arts).
- The Master of Fine Arts in Visual Arts is offered with the following areas of concentration:

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have a Four-year undergraduate degree with a minimum grade point average equivalent to Canadian 70%.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and GRE to get admission in this program.
- Students have to complete a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Students with a marginally lower four-year average may be accepted if their performance in the last two complete years is significantly higher (75% or more).
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
