Program Description
- The University of Regina offers MEng in Electronic Systems Engineering with a duration of 2 years (4 terms) program.
- This program is offered on a full-time basis.
- This program contains two options: co-op, or project.
- The program requires each student to complete a two-semester project and is oriented towards students desiring professional rather than academic careers.
- The MEng in Electronic Systems Engineering focuses on the following areas of research:
- Powers Systems Design
- Digital Control System Design
- Integrated Circuit Design
- Telecommunications and Computer Networks
- Digital Signal Processing Design
- RF and Microwave Engineering
- Students are enrolled in a Co-op route in their program of study and receive a letter from the Co-op office.
- Students will normally be assigned a project supervisor just prior to starting their project or during the first semester of the MEng project course.
- The project may be the development and testing of a functional device or system incorporating both hardware and software, or it may be a major study of a technological issue.
- The acceptance rate of this program is 85%.
- The Student to faculty ratio is 20:1 which bridges the gap between the faculty and students.
- After completing this program, students find employment as manufacturing and processing project engineers, aviation engineers, communications engineers, and many more., etc.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have a graduating average of at least 70 percent from a four-year bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 (B grade).
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and GRE to get admission in this program.
- Students have to complete a four-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Students with a marginally lower four-year average may be accepted if their performance in the last two complete years is significantly higher (75% or more).
