- Master of Nursing at the University of Regina is offered as a 2-years (4 sessions) program.
- This program is offered on a full-time basis.
- The program consists of a Thesis, a project, course work, and an optional internship.
- A student is required to complete a minimum of 60 credits successfully.
- Major components for this program are:
- Knowledge of nursing theory
- Practice with legal authority and autonomy

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- An overall grade point average of 75% in the last 60 credit hours of most recent post-secondary studies
- Completion of an approved baccalaureate nursing program
- Students have to complete an undergraduate degree, normally in Nursing.
- Completion of a minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice experience as an RN within the last five years
- Institutional TOEFL is not accepted.
- GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 (B grade).
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and GRE to get admission in this program.
- Students have at least two years of experience in a focused clinical area to be demonstrated on a CV.
- For the thesis-based Nursing program, admission is offered based upon publications, participation in research projects, and academic awards.
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Students with a marginally lower four-year average may be accepted if their performance in the last two complete years is significantly higher (75% or more)
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
