Program Description
- This program introduces the student to all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, from mining to plant operation to waste management. The curriculum includes courses in nuclear plant design, radiation protection, nuclear chemistry and materials, heat transport, steam-generation systems, and nuclear physics.
- They will learn about the current operational fleet of reactors and apply their growing knowledge to the future generations of reactors.
- The programs are designed in consultation with key industry representatives and will provide the student with the necessary theoretical and applied skills to meet employers' needs.
