Program Description
- The media environment is rapidly changing and evolving. The skills associated with journalism continue to be highly valuable, but not just for traditional media outlets anymore. Increasingly, all industries, corporations and organizations rely on digital media for their communications and marketing needs.
- Content creators push their content to Instagram, Snapchat and other social media platforms. But with an overload of content, how we do we strategically use these new technologies to share news and content of all kinds with audiences.
- Digital Media and Journalism program will provide students with the critical thinking and technical skills they’ll need to work in the fast-paced and fast-changing world of media.
- Their comprehensive education in journalism, public relations and digital and social media will prepare them for a career as a digital media professional in a competitive environment where credible news outlets and organizations of all kinds fight for visibility in our media-saturated world.

- Education equivalent to a four-year Canadian undergraduate degree in any discipline from an accredited university with a minimum B average (73%) in the last 10 half-credit courses completed.
