The purpose of this program is to develop theatre artists who are masterful designers in set, costume, lighting, projection, and sound for the theatre.
In this program, design students discover a true sense of joy in working with other people, especially directors, and realize the excitement of evolving a production through the process of collaboration.
Finally, the department endeavors to create an atmosphere conducive to creative experimentation, tempered by honest, open criticism, and disciplined study.
The department encourages the discovery of the process in formulating the design idea, development of personal critical standards for students’ own work, and preparation for a creative and meaningful professional life in the theater.
The university offers a plethora of courses for international students including 84 majors and 2,000 courses in different fields at the undergraduate level.

Academic Eligibility:

Applicants should have completed a bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized university.
Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility: Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
