Program Description

  • The Bachelor of Science in Physics is a 4-year program with Honours at the University of Windsor.
  • This program is designed for individuals who are seeking to prepare for a career in Physics.
  • Students will have the opportunity to apply to the Co-operative Education Program.

  • Students will learn how the universe works from the fundamental forces of nature to their effects on matter and the environment.
  • Internship in this program gives opportunities for students to explore their interests in a particular area, create a network of contacts, and gain academic credit.
  • The Bachelor of Science students may apply to a co-op internship in Year 3.
  • Co-op education combines classroom-based learning with practical work experience.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility: 
  • Students must have a high school diploma which is equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD).
  • Student required a minimum 70% average in all attempted Science and Math courses.
  • Subjects required: Advanced Functions, English, and Physics.
  • Calculus and Vectors and Chemistry are recommended.
      Language Requirments:
      • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS Scores.
