Program Description

  • The CFA designation is one of the most respected and globally recognized credentials in the financial services industry.
  • Graduates of the Asper MFin and a CFA designation are qualified to pursue job opportunities at financial service firms including banks, pension funds, insurance companies, investment banks,.. etc.
  • This program uses the CFA Body of Knowledge as its frame of reference. 
  • The University worked with the CFA to map over 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge into this program concentration, in addition to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:
  • Students have to complete a three?year bachelor’s degree from a post-secondary-recognized educational institution.
  • GPA of at least 3.0/4.5 (B grade) in the last 2 years of study is required to be eligible for this program.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
  • Or, completed graduation in B.Sc.(H) Computer Science or B.Sc. Applied Physical Sciences with Mathematics and Computer Science.
  • Or, completed a B.Sc (General) degree from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
