Program Description
- The University of Saskatchewan offers a bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering with a duration of 4 years (8 semesters).
- This course is offered on a full-time and part-time basis also. This program is provided both on-campus and off-campus.
- The first-year classes will be shorter and more intensive so students can learn a broader range of material. These essential skills will form the strong foundation students need for the rest of their degrees.
- The program introduces the fundamental concepts and techniques for the modeling and analysis of discrete-time signals and linear systems.
- Students will cover the architecture and operation of microcontrollers used in embedded systems. The course focuses on hardware and software techniques used to program a microcontroller and interface it with external devices.
- The program also covers the verification of digital circuits and systems, emphasizing System Verilog, a verification language. It starts with the basics, such as functional verification methodologies, and System Verilog fundamentals, and gradually builds to more complex examples and advanced topics.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants should have 12 class grades and a minimum grade of 70% is required in each of these courses: Foundations of Mathematics 30 or Pre-Calculus 30
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Admission is offered on an ongoing basis until all seats are filled.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Minimum 4 major subjects in 12th Grade, including English, with an average of 70% and no course less than 65%.
