Program Description
- The University of Saskatchewan offers BSc in Computer Engineering with a duration of 4 years (8 semesters).
- This course is offered on a full-time basis and part-time studies are not available for this program. This program is provided both on-campus and off-campus.
- The Computer Engineering program provides training in the software/hardware co-design of digital systems with an emphasis on embedded systems.
- The program shares courses with the Electrical Engineering Program that cover general electrical engineering, analog and digital electronics, signal processing, communications, and computers.
- Topics specific to Computer Engineering are studied in specialized focus areas in the third and fourth years.
- All undergraduate students admitted will be required to complete a common first year of undeclared studies (known as the first-year common core).
- Once the first-year common core program has been completed, undergraduate students will declare their preferences and compete for admission into an upper-year program.

Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants should have 12 class grades and a minimum grade of 70% is required in each of these courses: Chemistry 30, Physics 30, Pre-Calculus 30
- Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
- Admission is offered on an ongoing basis until all seats are filled.
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Minimum 4 major subjects in 12th Grade, including English, with an average of 70% and no course less than 65%.
