Program Description
- Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at York University is offered as 4 years teaching program.

- York’s undergraduate Neuroscience program has several unique features. Based on their interests, students choose one of three entry pathways by selecting
- Biology
- Kinesiology and Health Science
- Or, Psychology as their home program.
- This program emphasizes hands-on learning and uses methods of assessments that match these experiences, such as interviews, case studies/simulations, team critical reflections, and an independent or team-based capstone project.
- The adventure begins with a solid science curriculum in 1st year, including the keystone course Frontiers in Neuroscience.
- Students experience a broad neuroscience foundation in 2nd year.
- In the 3rd year, students develop their understanding by choosing courses from the 3 specialization streams (cellular/molecular, cognitive/behavioral, or systems neuroscience), and putting it all together with a stimulating, research-based capstone course in the 4th year.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- Students must complete an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) degree.
- Students must have to complete the following course such as:
- English (ENG4U)
- Biology (SBI4U)
- Chemistry (SCH4U)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U)
- And two additional 4U or M courses
- To gain admission to this program, the student’s academic average should be in the low-to-mid-80s.
Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
- All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
- Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
- Indian School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Examination Certificate
- Pre-University Examination Certificate
- Students also have to complete the Grade XII math, biology, chemistry course.
