  • Bachelor of Arts in Economics at York University is offered as a 3-4 year teaching program.

Academic Eligibility:
  •  Students must have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) degree.
  •  Students must have to complete the following course such as:
    • English (ENG4U)
    • Five additional 4U or M courses
    •  MHF4U
    •  four additional 4U or M courses - recommendation(s) below:
      • MCV4U
  • To gain admission to this program, the student's academic average should be in the mid-to-high 70s.
Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:
  • All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
  • Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
  • Indian School Certificate (ISC)
  • Intermediate Examination Certificate
  • Pre-University Examination Certificate
  • Students also have to complete the Grade XII math course.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
