Program Description
- BMus in Composition and Theory at the University of Victoria is offered as a 4-years program by the School of Music.

- The composition and theory section has a reputation for experimentation, innovation, and theoretical rigour.
- Composition students receive three years of private lessons and classroom instruction in digital technologies.
- Students will mix with performers, composers, recording artists, and scholars in an immersive, collaborative experience.
- Students will create, produce and promote music as working professionals.
- This course, ensembles, studio lessons, and recording technologies connect music of the past with the present.
- The BMus program consists of a minimum of 67 units.

Academic Eligibility:
Applicants must hold Twelve years of academic preparation and one of the following:

Applicants must hold Twelve years of academic preparation and one of the following:
- Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) awarded after Standard XII with 75% (conditional offer with 80% on Grade 10 results)
- Year 12 State Board Exams: Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC); applicants with excellent academic results will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Students must have a GPA of 5.0 on a scale of 9.0.
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
