Program Description
- Mechatronics tackles real-world engineering problems with uniquely inventive solutions, combining the three fields of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering.
- Students learn in a supportive environment of small class sizes, and mandatory co-operative education work experience to apply their research in the real world.
- The Mechatronic Systems Engineering program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences is offered at the Surrey campus.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must be graduated with senior secondary education, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.25.
- Students admitted directly from a bachelor's degree must complete at least 50% of the course work units required for the relevant department's master's program.
- A GPA of at least 3.0. with a minimum grade of C+.
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Students completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.00 or 60% in the final years of the program.
