Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must be graduated with senior secondary education, with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.25.
- Students admitted directly from a bachelor's degree must complete at least 50% of the course work units required for the relevant department's master's program.
- A GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale with a minimum grade of C+.
- The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
- Students completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.00 or 60% in the final years of the program.
Extra Notes
Work Study
The Work-Study Program allows students to take part in research-based projects. Students may work on-campus and off-campus. On-Campus: Work-Study is available during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Students will be awarded 140 Work-Study hours for a term. The hourly rate of pay is $15.20 per hour. It is possible to work on-campus with a work permit if the student meets the following requirements:
- Valid study permit that includes a condition stating Students may work on campus.
- Enrolled as a full-time student.
- Valid study permit that includes a condition stating students may work off-campus.
- Enrolled in a program of 6 months or more that leads to a degree, diploma, or certificate.
- Enrolled as a full-time student.
