- This whole spectrum is researched at the LMU on microorganisms, plants, fungi, animals and humans at various levels. Biology is divided into the departments of anthropology and human genetics, biochemistry, botany, developmental biology, evolutionary biology, genetics, microbiology, neurobiology, ecology, systematics, cell biology and zoology.
