Program Description
- The Bachelor’s degree program in Biology equips students with a solid understanding of fundamental biological principles, as well as key competencies. Topics covered include biodiversity and evolution of plants and animals, physiology and developmental biology as well as biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology.
- The Biology degree program provides students with fundamental and specialized knowledge and ways of thinking, which can also be applied in other subject areas. Students are able to describe interconnections between subdisciplines of biology and between different levels of organization in biological systems.
- Students are able to plan and implement their own teaching and learning. They are able to think analytically and critically and possess specialized and subject-specific didactical skills.
