Program Description
- The academic program attaches major importance to conveying knowledge of psychology as an empirical science. Students learn about ways of thinking and research in empirical psychology and acquire the basic knowledge and skills of psychological research methods. They learn about different theoretical approaches and gain insights into the central topics of psychology.
- These topics are consolidated in a wide range of lectures, seminars and practice classes. In addition, students are also provided with an overview of the various career options associated with psychology. The targeted combination of compulsory elective subjects enables (but does not require) students to select own areas of specialization in the second stage of university education.
