Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:
  • Applicants have studied Mathematics to A-level, Advanced Higher, Higher Level in the IB or another equivalent.
  • Students may apply for PPE having done any combination of subjects at school and it is not necessary to have studied Politics, Philosophy, or Economics and History can provide a useful background but is not essential.
  • All candidates must take the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) as part of the application. 
  • Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
  • Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission in this program.
Other: In this course, a background in Mathematics is not an essential requirement for admission, PPE applicants should have sufficient interest in, and aptitude for, mathematics to cope with the mathematical elements of the course.

Indian Student Eligibility:
  • The student has graduated from senior secondary school or equivalent (those applying for a postgraduate program must have graduated from a university or college).
  • Minimum 4 major subjects in 12th Grade, including English, with an average of 70% and no course less than 65%.
