Program Description
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Imperial College London is a 3-year program.
- It is an on-campus, 180 credits program offered on a full-time basis.
- In this program, students will study topics in organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry, with an emphasis on a practical education that is relevant to the industry.
- Years 1 and 2 of chemistry courses follow the same core lecture module content supplemented by two ancillary modules.
- In year 3 of this course, students will take a mixture of core and optional modules, and complete a substantial research project.
- Chemistry courses include a high level of laboratory experience, designed to develop the practical, analytical, and theoretical skills required to work in the sector.
- Faculty taught through a combination of lectures, tutorials, practical workshops, and guided laboratory work.
- Students will also take part in theoretical and mathematical methods laboratories, workshops, and IT laboratories.
- The department offers both Master in Science (MSc) degrees and Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees.
- Chemistry courses are professionally accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry and cover modules in inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry in all years of study.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have three A-level (A*A*A) overall, which include:
- A in Chemistry
- A in Mathematics
- A in another subject (Physics, Biology or Economics is preferred)
- Students must have 38 points overall, to include 6 in Chemistry, 6 in Mathematics, and 6 in a third subject at a higher level (Biology, Economics, or Physics is recommended).
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
- CISCE - ISC - Students will require scores of 90% overall across five subjects with a score of 90 to 95% in relevant subjects
- CBSE – AISSE - Students will require a rank on the common merit list from a good performance in the JEE advanced
