Program Description

  • The University of Birmingham offers BEng in Aerospace engineering program for a duration of 3 years.
  • It is an Honors program and available Full-time.
  • The Aerospace Engineering BEng course is structured to give a broad coverage of engineering disciplines appropriate to the current and future aerospace industry and research area, including mechanics, materials, fluids and sensors and control systems that provide a basis for materials, structures, and avionics.
  • The student will gain the skills necessary to transform the emerging fields of satellite, deep space missions and unmanned aerial vehicles where remote control and communications are required.
  • The interdisciplinary nature of the subject is dealt with by shared modules in all years as well as group project exercises.
  • Graduates of the course will retain a specialism (materials, structures, and avionics) but based on broad coverage to enable students to develop good careers in all engineering aspects of the aeronautical and space industries.

Academic Eligibility:
  • Students must have a minimum GPA of 4.0
  • Minimum of 32 points overall
  • Students to have Grade GCSE Mathematics at grade 6/B and 6,6,5 at Higher Level.
  • BTEC diplomas, required
  • A level Mathematics and at least one Physical Science. Students must also pass the practical element of any reformed science A levels which include Biology, Chemistry and Physics taught from 2015 and typical offer AAB for opted course
Work Experience Eligibility: Work Experience not required.

Indian Student Eligibility: Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet following eligibility criteria:
  • Indian Standard XII will be considered for entry to the first year of our undergraduate degree programs.
