- In this program, the thesis will show convincing evidence of the capacity of the candidate to pursue research and scholarship, and represent original work that is appropriately located by the candidate within a wider field of knowledge and investigation.
- Students undertake a substantial research project and may undertake some of the research training available to Ph.D. students.
- The MPhil program does not require students to undertake any Research Training; however, students may choose to attend courses from the Ph.D. Research Training Programme subject to availability.

Academic Eligibility:- Candidates must hold a Bachelors's degree with Honours (to UK standard) of First or Upper Second (2:1) Class.
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a B.Sc (General) degree from a recognized institution.
