Program Description
The one‑year Hospitality Operations - Food and Beverage certificate program is designed to provide students with balanced training, combining theory and practical experience in the specific skills involved in the preparation, service and control of food and beverages.Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with minimum 50%. Admission Requirements - Grade 12 compulsory English or equivalent OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications or equivalent. A sound English background is important for success in this program and is considered during the admission selection process. Hospitality industry experience and good communication skills are assets. To complete program objectives, students are required to handle and serve wine and liquor. Applicants are advised that in order to comply with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations, students under 18 will be unable to serve alcohol in the Restaurant Operations class.
- In case the program has three semesters in a year, annual tuition fee may increase for one additional semester.
