Program Description
Through a combination of theoretical and practical instruction, the Mechanical Technician - CNC diploma will allow students to develop foundational machining and CNC skills, including CNC program development. They will also learn how to load programs and set machine tools with an emphasis on setting up CNC equipment for creating, editing and optimizing production. Understanding the various disciplines through this multi-step process will be key to a student's journey towards CNC mastery.Other Requirements
- Grade 12 with minimum 50%. Admission Requirements - Grade 12 compulsory English or equivalent OR Conestoga College Preparatory Communications. Grade 12 Mathematics or equivalent OR Conestoga College Preparatory Mathematics. A sound mathematical and English background is important for success in this program and is considered during the admission selection process.
- In case the program has three semesters in a year, annual tuition fee may increase for one additional semester.
