Program Description
Seneca College’s Fire Protection Engineering Technician two-year diploma program is a North American standard in providing comprehensive fire prevention education. Students can expect to work with advanced equipment under the guidance of professors and industry experts in fire science labs.
On completion of the program students can move forward to the Firefighter, Pre-Service Education and Training program for a career in firefighting.
Throughout this program students will develop the following skills:
- General knowledge in major areas of fire protection
- Troubleshooting fire alarms and sprinklers
- Governing codes and standards
